Indeed there are a lot of companies and tradesmen out there offering similar services but few can boast over thirteen years of experience installing alarms, CCTV and door access systems across the northern home counties and London. On top of that, the very ethos of the company is geared towards giving our customers a level of support and service that we would demand and expect for ourselves. Our aim is to establish long lasting relationships with our customers, offering peace of mind which begins with something quite simple; trust. We want you to be confident that we're always there for you.

Hey, don't take our word for it, check out some of our customers' testimonials at the bottom of our About Us page.

A monitored system basically sends signals to a monitoring station which continually ‘watches’ your alarm and is able to respond very quickly to any activations. A response can include the deployment of guards to your premises.

Due to the very stringent legislation requirements, we contract monitoring to a company called DuoCall.

Various packages are available including police response. Here is what our basic package includes:

  • Monitoring by DualCom
  • Grade 2 wireless GPS
  • 24/7 365 days full monitoring of your alarm
  • Free annual service for the duration of your monitoring

We’re more than happy to discuss your specific requirements in detail and advise accordingly so please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Yes. In fact we have a whole website for CCTV at www.hertfordshirecctv.comt.

Yes. Pyronix produce a series of small, discrete cameras each having a built-in SD card slot and one of which even has an on-board microphone and speaker for 2-way conversation.

Communication with your keypad is wireless but the cameras do require power which is delivered either via a small external power supply or PoE (power over Ethernet).

The full range of Pyronix cameras is available in our online store here.

Technology is constantly evolving. We can't do anything about that. The good news however, is that since the invention of the peak infra-red (PIR) motion detector, the fundamental principles of your common or garden alarm system, haven't really changed that much.

Telephone cablingBeing in the industry, we have an idea of what's around the corner. British Telecom for example is pushing to move all customers over to VoIP telephony by 2025, hence making conventional telephone lines obsolete and allowing them to switch off the traditional 'copper' network. This will have implications for systems that use a telephone line today.

As such, we can only recommend that in the same way, you may buy a new freezer or television every few years, you consider upgrading your system regularly. Ideally, an burglar alarm system should be upgraded every ten years.

A good battery with nominal usage can last up to two years. We strongly recommend however, that all the batteries in your system be changed once a year. Apart from guaranteeing you regular (annual) check ups of your system, our Service and Maintenance pack includes free replacement of all your batteries.

We don't give out the engineer's code to customers as a point of security. If the code ever fell into the wrong hands, the security of your security system would be compromised. It's that simple.
